Add all the marinade ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Rub all over the chicken pieces and leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Add all the sauce ingredients to a pan and heat over a medium heat over a medium heat until it has thickend up. This should take about 20 minutes.
Once the chicken has marinated sufficently cook on the BBQ, this should take about 40 minutes.
Plate up, poor over the satay sauce and serve.
