Smoked Mackerel & Beetroot Salad

  • 200 g smoked mackerel fillets
  • 200 g mixed salad leaves
  • 250 g beetroot pickled
  • 1 tbsp horseradish sauce
  • 100 ml creme fraiche
  • 1 tsp dried tarragon
  • 400 g cooked lentils 1 tin


  • Remove the skin from the mackerel fillets and then flake into a mixing bowl.
  • Cut the beetroots into 1/8s and then add to the mixing bowl along with all the other ingredients other than the salad leaves and mix together well.
  • Serve on a bed of mixed salad leaves.
