Servings 2 people
Ingredients
- 15 g butter melted
- 40 g plain flour
- 40 g oats
- 120 ml milk whole
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- vegetable oil
Instructions
- Beat the egg in a bowl and then add in the melted butter and milk and blend well.
- Mix the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl and then stir the wet ingredients into them until thoroughly mixed.
- Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to a non-stick frying pan and heat to a medium-high temperature. Once the pan has heated up use a large wooden spoon and add a spoonful of batter. Cook for about 30 seconds and then use a spatula to look at the bottom of the pancake and judge if if it's cooked or not. If it is flip it over and cook the other side.
- Add some additional oil if required and repeat the above. The ingredients should produce about 6 pancakes.
Notes
Serve with maple syrup, bacon and avocado or anything else that is tasty and to hand.
